A Straight LineWould you start a war for me? Would you break those walls and set yourself free? Would you fall apart from them? Would you fight against the ones that gave you air?A Straight Line
And I ask myself again Why can’t we just pretend That things are how we want them to be.
We will fight until the end Until then we’ll just pretend That this is what we wanted to be.
So just close your eyes and breath Deep inside you know it’s worth your time. Can you tell me what this means? In the mean time I will realize you are everything to me.
And I ask myself again

The Sinking Ship Theory. The night is young But we have grown old Breath in slowly All the air from my blackened lungsThe Sinking Ship Theory.
The smoke from my burning heart Made a perfect shadow of the lives That we pretended is ours.

Or where we’ve been.
It’s so quiet tonight. I can hear our hearts beating, but I’m alone. It’s never been quite like this..

Red Like This. The sand is slipping through my fingers While the cold water hits my feet I’m just another face in the crowd And you can’t help but to bring me downRed Like This.
And the crown, you got crowned

But baby I’ve realized There’s no wrong turns, we’re only turning around
I’ve been longing for this Don’t hesitate, I taste the poison in your lips Pull the trigger and watch the sand turn red Like this.
Time is slipping through your fingers Don’t you hate to know you‘ve never tried? I’m just another shadow

Walking Contradiction.Put on your mask and join the parade of walking contradiction. Sketch in paper, recycled paper, the story of your exhibition. You are nothing but a piece of art. Nothing but a pretty face. If you can call it art. Run with them, merge into the crowd and break apart from the rope that once held us so high, and together. Run with them, merge into the city lights and broken headlights. But you can’t run away forever. Pour me a glass of your cheapest wine, please sir. Anything to make me sick, unconcerned. Look away whenever you see this kind of things. This isn’t for your eyes, my child, you’re not quite seventeen. Run with them, merge into the cWalking Contradiction.
